In 2005, the Montreal South Shore saw its demand in superior quality office space ( ŤAť category) increase significantly. The rate of unoccupied quality office space went from 12,6 % to 6,7 %.
The main building projects for new office space are the following:
  - Catania (Axis Dix-30) located at the intersection of autoroutes 10 and 30 in Brossard, to be delivered in five phases by 2007, consisting of one high rise of office space for rent.
  - Charles Lemoyne Place, which is the University of Sherbrooke's Longueuil Metro Campus, connected to the metro station and offering 150,000 sq. ft. of office and commercial space for rent.
  - The Barcelona Business and Residential Project, on Roland-Therrien Boulevard, with over 297,000 sq.ft. of superior quality office and residential space.
